Our Mission Statement
At Aria Wood Designs, our mission is to create handcrafted pieces that bring warmth, meaning, and purpose into people’s homes—honoring the spirit of our daughter Aria, who taught us to find joy in every moment and strength in every challenge.
Who is Aria?
Aria Wood Designs began as an idea created through discussions with close family and friends. Our daughter Aria, passed away on April 11, 2021, at just 10 months and 1 day old, after a long battle with Pulmonary Vein Stenosis (PVS).
Standing by Aria through her journey with PVS, and not knowing what was around the corner made us really begin to appreciate the little things. The way no matter what she endured, she woke up every day smiling. She was such a beautiful little girl inside and out. She showed everyone that no matter what she went through, there was still a reason to enjoy life. That we can do anything we put our minds to, no matter what hand we are dealt. She was and forever will be the sunshine to our day.
We all should step back and focus on the beauty in life. This crazy world we live in can only bring us down if we let it. Aria taught us how precious life is, and how much we should all stop being afraid to be who we are. We found that one way that we can help people express who they are is through woodworking.
Our Purpose
Born from love, loss, and resilience, Aria Wood Designs was created to celebrate life’s beauty—especially in its smallest details. Inspired by Aria’s unwavering light and the lessons she gave us in her short time here, we use woodworking as a way to help others express themselves, cherish what matters most, and build spaces filled with love and intention.
